So my husbands boss will remain in his position for another four years. I am a hardcore conservative, but I have to say that I'm secretly a little relieved. Obama would rather backhand the pope than send more troops overseas. Unless something serious happens, there might be a chance that my husband will never see combat.
However, I'm still incredibly depressed about the election results. I wasn't a huge fan of Romney, but I would have swallowed it rather than Obama.
I won't go into it, simply because there is nothing I can do about it now. But I am thinking that my husband and I should move to a swing state so that our votes would actually count for something. Washington is notoriously liberal, so we don't even merit a campaign visit.
Stupid washington, stupid electoral system, stupid social issues.
