Not a lot of new stuff going on, but here are a couple of highlights:
- The Husband gets picked up for training today, a week later than anticipated because there weren't enough people in his company so they delayed a week in order for the next group to be ready to go.
- Grayson has some sort of eye thing going on. He has white and green goop coming out of his left eye, so I took him to the ER (thinking it was Pink eye from Danny) and they gave me eyedrops. The goop cleared up for a couple of days, but it came back yesterday, so I made another pediatrician appointment for this afternoon. Hopefully the doctor will have some idea whats going on.
- I am pretty well healed up from the birth. I am pretty sure my stitches have dissolved and the tearing has healed, which makes it so much easier to get out of bed and it doesn't.
Just got back from the doctors office. The doctor determined that it is NOT pink eye, just a blocked tear duct. She told me to apply visine to help clear it up.
More money drama also. Danny's plan to send me money during the next phase of training was to wire me funds. What he failed to think about was the fact that he has to be able to call to make transfers, but he is only allowed to make calls on sunday; when the bank isn't open. So, once again, I am without money while he is in training. The only difference this time is that I can talk to him about it. Grr...The funny thing is that I told him to make sure he could do the transfer while he was leave. But he didn't listen.
Hope Grayson feels better. Hope you upload pictures soon, love seeing baby pictures and it makes me even more excited for my little one to be here in October. As for the money situation it would be best when he gets back home to go to the bank and make a joint account so its easier and less stressful for the both of you. He's at MCT? I'm surprised he can even make calls. My husband was out in the field pretty much the whole time so he wasn't able to make calls but I guess every MCT is different. Glad you are feeling better after birth as well. With my first son I had an emergency C-section and the pain after was just horrendous, that is what I'm not looking forward to with my next baby.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any of his banking information, such as his member number for PMCC. Not sure how you guys manage your $ situation, but if he's ok with it and you have the info, sign up for the online banking and then you can make the transfers. Most banks allow you to transfer bank to bank without an extra fee.
ReplyDeleteThere will be many, many more times in your marine corps life where you will have to manage things for him or by yourself b/c he isn't able to do it. Make sure you know all of his information or where you can find it quickly if you need it. I know my Hubby's SS# by heart and I often have to try and remember mine b/c I always need to use his, LOL. :)
